Intranet Websites (Private)
Intranet websites are different from Internet websites in that they are typically only available within a company's internal computer network and not available to the public world wide web.
This method allows company's to secure private data and not allow information to be available without having certain levels of security authorization.
Intranet websites are no different from Internet websites, they are put together the same way and have all of the same funcionality that external websites have. One major advantage is that the data used to drive the site is much easier to maintain and can be from the same source that most companies drive all of their internal programs from such as a database server of some sort.
